The 12th International Conference of the Kenya Chemical Society (KCS) and the 10th Federation of African Societies of Chemistry (FASC) Congress will be held jointly from September 9 to 11, 2026, at the United States International University-Africa (USIU-A) in Nairobi, Kenya.

This joint conference brings together the two societies under a shared vision of "Harnessing the Power of Chemistry for a Sustainable Future"

The Federation of African Societies of Chemistry (FASC) (https://faschem.co.za/) is a pan-African organization that brings together national chemical societies from across the continent. Established to strengthen collaboration among African chemists, FASC plays a vital role in advancing education, research, and innovation in the chemical sciences. Through capacity-building initiatives, knowledge exchange programs, and advocacy, FASC promotes the integrationof chemistry into national and regional development strategies, positioning the discipline as a cornerstone of scientific and socioeconomic progress.

The Kenya Chemical Society (KCS) (https://kenyachemicalsociety.org/), as a leading professional body in East Africa, has long been committed to advancing the practice, teaching, and application of chemistry. Its biennial international conference serves as a premier forum for scientists, educators, and industry professionals to share groundbreaking research, explore emerging trends, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
